New year, new day..! Lost essence

Going back in my childhood, I was always intrigued by the fact why there was so aplomb and joy in the festivals. But still it was enthralling to embellish the home and wear new dresses and play around the house. And especially the New Year’s Eve was the day best known for its party all night tag. I was still new to it, enjoyed it as it was the one day of the year that I was allowed to stay awake till midnight and make loud noise at top of my larynx. There was some magic in the air which even the wind wished in our eyes new year...!
As I grew into adolescence, the magic seemed to disappear. Every one engrossed in their own world of work, booze and making money. For children it has become more of a winter vacation rather than a New Year, new day, new challenges, new sweet nothings, new wishes and new dreams. People are not associating it with religious content, but with drunken revelry and insane road trips with friends unknown.
I still cannot believe that how can people suddenly forget the true essence of New Year...
It is that day where there leads a bright path ahead...
It is that day which whispers us to leave all the worries behind and start a lucent day...
It is that day which marks the exchange of greetings and happy wishes...
It is that day where reaching someone through calls can be equivalent to impossible :P...
It is that day where we yearn to spend with our loved ones through any means...
It is that day where a family awaits to have a glimpse of apple of their eye that had been in exile for years due to work...

These memories are indescribable and culmination of these is an awesome feeling to relive. But with the lucrative job on the edge, people have loved to devote this day immersed in work, work and work. Hats off to their dedication to money and lifeless life..!!

Lost innocence...

The other day ,I saw a little girl vying for her mother's attention just to grab her love and care which she was devoid of.She tried to hold her mother's sari and never let it go. Her mother whined at her and left hurriedly. What was her fault? Nothing. She just tried to ensure her share of love in her account. This is the daily tale of every child in this modern society.

Modernization has played a havoc in our lives.Parents leave their apple of their eyes to the mercy of lifeless toys. And derive satisfaction at this little contribution of their's in their child's growth. They feel their child has enough of toys and gadgets to grow smart and enjoy life. But only the child can feel his colorless life without his sole companion-parents..!! In this process , the child learns to be self dependent and at this fragile stage, there is no one to advice or give ample support. Thus becomes the base for this arrogant, needless to say stubborn and reckless teenagers of the present world.Everyone can see the spoilt brat face but no one cares to peek into the lost innocence of that spoilt brat.

When it was his time to play hide and seek with his parents,he was forced to seek his parents's hidden attention behind the work load. When it was his time to go horse riding on his father's back,he was forced to see his father's back when he yearned for his care. When it was time to play and fight with his cousins,he was forced to fight back the loneliness and isolation he had to suffer his whole childhood. When it was his time to fiddle with his father's hair,he was forced to fiddle with his life and make it even more messy. When it was time to sleep blissfully in his life giver's lap,he was forced to sleep on his lifeless companion, his teddy.

This is today's youth life no one can change..until and unless god come and intervene in this busy and buzzing life...!

Living the dream !!

Ever wondered what would you had done if you were in place of Alice in Wonderland lost in some confusing, surreal yet intriguing world ever thought of. Well to your dismay or delight(depending on you :P), you had been playing the role of little Alice from the day you were born(or might be before. I don’t remember :P) Do not be confused ,I am talking about our own dreams...!!!

Don’t we all get lost in some mysterious worlds in sleep?

Don’t we all get chased by the evil witch when we are not even able to escape through
the seemingly endless road?

Don’t we all get pushed by our haters atop the hill?

Don’t we all get to own the things we had yearned for years?

Don’t we all see our crush being beside us and talking endlessly?

Don’t we all act insane in some place where we are supposed to be quiet and act gentle?

Don’t we all get to visit an old desolate dark house with no other vegetation besides?

Don’t we all get to know our results months before the actual result gets published?

Don’t we all get to see cartoon characters moving out of the idiot box and jumping, prancing along with us?

Well it all can happen in our beloved dreams...
If I would had been in Alice’s shoes,I would had pranced like a pony, ordered like a king, sung sweet melodies like the nightingale , enjoyed the serenity of the  breathtaking place...

In present world, deep secrets and thoughts are believed to be hidden behind the dreams. We try to interpret in our own terms. Some day a SADHU dreamt that gold is underneath a huge tree and publicized this. And to his dismay, his followers found nothing but roots of the adjoining trees.Still he has a huge followers queue to his credit..Nothing more can be expected of those people who just daydream that those saints would fulfil their wishes.

Dreams are the result of our present state of mind or about we had been thinking long about. Some situations are there,we prefer not to think about . But dreams do not spare us, they make us go through the terrible situations we are afraid to dive into . They may seem insignificant in our lives still they an imprint in our subconscious mind.In dreams no one gonna come and save us.We fight, cry and try to get out the misery ourselves. Even they can be a sweet remembrance of some everlasting moments in life. Dreaming permits each and everyone to quietly and safely to act ,insane in every dreams of our night. As we don't remember about when our life began and have no clue about when it will end, same can be said about dreams.Dreams have no beginning, no end !! So live the dream and let smile conquer your world ...

People are more into facebook than into each other...

Way back in 2004,when Facebook peeked out into this world ,who would had wondered that it would revolutionize our lives. The seeds of facebook were sowed for the sole purpose:connecting friends.Today it has held its head high in the long run of accomplishing this seemingly unfeasible task...

This petty social networking site has stormed into our life and taken hold of almost every aspects of our world. Gone are the days, when we would long to meet our friends, near and dear ones and have a chit chat, bragging about self and bitching about others:P Gone are the days, when love birds would be yearning to meet their soulmates, holding hand in hand and each eye contact would say a thousand words... Gone are the days, friends used to bunk classes and hangout together... Gone are the days, when we were breaking any good news, achievements to our family and get their true blessings...Life seems to be confined within this world called facebook rather say FAKEBOOK!!

Today the smileys, emoticons have concealed the true emotions, sentiments. If we were to have a chit chat,we forget our hangouts.Rather we ping that friend and feel satisfied with the little effort we made in searching and chatting with him.  Facebook is earning all the share of core interactions we have.Even if we cannot attend family get togethers ,we do not regret as we have an easy excuse in video chat which connects us visually but not emotionally. Its shocking to see how people try desperate means just to get noticed in facebook. We feel dejected with others share of achievements.

As facebook has endowed us with hot and happening features,we get swayed away by it.Its hard to get away with the addiction and I see a bleaking future of our teenagers. There is a war going on between online and offline relationships..Who will win??? Who can impart love, benevolence ,stand along with us even when we are fighting against all odds??
Ofcourse we all are well versed with the answer.Still we prefer to be engrossed in our surreal world of facebook until our own dreams are shattered by the gusty winds of life...My heartfelt condolences to all the relationships which could not thrive due to facebook..

Being Eighteen!!!

Eighteen-Turning eighteen is one of the dream come true for most of the teenagers where there is life without restrictions,no rules, just thrill and utmost enjoyment..It is the hanging point between childhood and adulthood where we are still childish with a tinge of maturity.Life seems to be the enthralling and edgy game ever played..Being a normal eighteen year old girl,I too feel the jitters...!!

I do not want to lose out this mischievous gleam in my eyes.I do not want to lose hold of the veracity of my thoughts.Although I do not
want to break the rules, cross the limits, still I want to explore the heights..Sometimes I can be at epitome of my puerility and the other moment you can see me become insane to cater to the needs of my dancing hormones..:P

I might be an amateur trying to disentangle the threads of life, still have the urge to dive into the new waves of my life with full confidence and aplomb. For someone who has been the apple of eye for their parents for years, this rapid transformation might be difficult to embrace...Still then I choose to venture in this world full of unknown, masked faces to weave my own world.Few of the many things I would love to encounter with and experience after being eighteen might be venturing into a new city explore it by myself.Putting my legs to rest,I want to fly onto the endless sky(in a plane of course :P),Present gifts to my near and dear ones with my first salary..All the crazy stuff..

                          Finally never getting old...:P

Thank you for patience bearing this crazy blog..!!!
